Vegas to Montreal took 27 hours :(
Vegas was a blast guys. I got a thank you and pics post coming on Monday.
My trip home:
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 12:30 on the 6th. We got to the airport right on time and bearly made it on board because the plane left 30 mins late. Wooooo, that was a close one.
One hour into the flight they announce that they need a doctors assitance ASAP. Some guy got sick and barffed all over the place. They were working on the guy for about 30mins and then decided to make an emergency landing in Oklahoma. We were on the ground for about an hour and a half. Here is the problem, we were still in Oklahoma at 7:30pm and our connectiing flight in Atlanta was leaving at 8:00. We landed in Atlanta at about 8:30 and they told us that some planes were leaving late and there was a chance that we could still cach our plane.
We get to the Delta booth and they tell us oour flight was cancled due to bad freezing snow in Montreal. We were re-booked for the 9:30 flight the next morning. Ohh maaaaan..I really wanted to go home at this point. Anyway, they took us to a roach hotel Comfort in and booked us for the night. Yes, we had to pay..lol.
Our 9:30 flight the next morning left on time. We got to MTL at 12:10. We waited about an hour for our bags to come spinning around...gues what? Yep NO BAGS! They were still in Atlanta. Once again we had to wait in line about an hour to gget to talk to a Delta rep. Turns out they will send us our bags today. I realy hope I get those fucking bags. I have about 2K worth of clothes, a DV Camera and most importantly a gift for my wife and little girl
Anyway, as long as we made it home safe huh?!??! LOL...that was long and painfull. OK..sorry for the long ass post.
