What do you think of disposable digital cameras?

Are they in the near future? Are they cost effective? Will they sell? I can see them working as long as there is no way to erase them and reuse them. Maybe a flipout usb connection or something on the side so you can DL them to your PC when you get in.

maybe this country should stop trying to invent new things to throw away, and start figuring out how to clean up the shit we've already polluted the earth with.

Haven't seen real disposable digitals... only the same film camera that "automatically comes with a CD when you develop your prints."

Personally, I don't know how much of a market there would be when digital camera prices are coming down anyway.

If I were in an optimistic mood I would agree with you. However, I realize that it is much too late to stop what has already been done. The whole place is going up in flames and I am just here to ride it out. Nothing I do will make any change. I keep my place clean and I pick up garbage if I see it lying around here near my house but that's about the extent of it. Noone cares dude. It's sad but it's a fact. Convenience is a much higher priority with lots of people than the well being of the planet. The planet will take care of itself anyway. It has a way of "Cleansing" itself every few million years or so.

Well for PC owners I think it would be a big market. I mean, with regular disposables, you have to pay for the camera, then pay to have it developed. If it were digital and you could just plug it into a usb AND the price was close to the same as regular disposables I think it would sell good.
