yup thats one use , but i would assume its better marketing for existing opt-in lists

Like lets say you had a pharmacy email list with data, i could transfer the users data to a forum so they could be notified of new medication or deals on existing medication thru different sponsors using the forum. You could use the existing email service built into phpbb or your own.

Isnt it just a matter of writing a socket program to fill in www-form 's. Actually I think it may be even easier with php.
