Some adult "free" hosting companies - not to mention names but Nicheservers/Menservers,etc. come to mind - steal a big % of outbound hits (and you won't know it unless you check), add footers (okay that's not a big deal but...), they also drop a few trojan horses in your JPGs. Likely that's not all they do!
