Yep, been working from home for about 8 months now. Now i get phone calls from people looking for me to take them somewhere in the car all the time because they seem to think that because i am at home, i'm not doing shit.

I do prefer working at home, but like someone has already said, you have to make your own money to pay the bills n' shit, not get a paycheck handed to you every week. When you have a few bad weeks, it does get very stressfull...

They just don't understand waht this work involves.. And the stress thats sometimes comes with it...

It is great to work from home.

What I love about working from home this time of year is the fact that I spent years in offices where people come in totally sick and trying to "tough it out" ... In the process getting pretty much everyone else sick as well and causing the sickness to linger for next to forever it seems in some offices.

i can understand why working from home could actauly be MORE stressful, you have no real esacpe from 'work' like you can run into your kitchen and then you realize only 3 rooms away is a pile of papers and ICQs from a bunch of dumbasses.

I had to cut off all my friends because they dident understand. I work at home I am at work dont come over. Call first if you want to come over. They just show up and when one show's up they all show up then all they do is talk about how their's nothing to do it's boreing well why the hell you hanging out with me?

:thumbsup why yes, it is nice - I decided 40 was enough, so 40 it is! (Five-years ago I decided I no longer want to work, for me or anyone, to the point that I will not have, what I classify as, a life.)

I am sure the people (excluding those that have forced responsibilities, such as children - not a house or car) that have 'drive' or plans to be successful by a certain time will be working 60+ hours/week - again, all due to a choice made.

Thanks, I started using that line when everybody was telling me how great it must be to be able to just work at my own pace. Yeah, okay. I had to start describing this as sort of being on call 24hrs a day. I have a lot of real life friends that keep in contact via the net and they will message me at like 11pm and ask me what I am doing. When I say I am still working they almost always make some comment like 'wow, you work long hours for someone who doesn't have to go to a real job'. REAL JOB? fuck off with your sick pay and gauranteed earnings and then tell me what exactly is so unreal about this kind of work. 'Come on Sarah, you can come over here for a few days, we even have a computer if you need to check your mail and stuff'. Right, sure. Let me just go check my Anal Destruction stats on the same computer your kid plays computer games on. I love how they think I can just stop doing everything and it will be okay because it isn't a real job.

They have to work only 40 hours a week and dont worry about anything, if their salery goes 3% down the world falls and they stop working. They have no clue, european webmasters lose 30% because of USD/EURO and then we pay tax. Fuck them let them masturbate & pay for porn, that's all they are good for.

Anyone who thinks that working at home is not ALOT better than working at an office is delusional.

Man... I thought that was just me... I am constantly running errands for people... they assume that I have all of the free time in the world to do all of their shit. It's getting so bad I have to say no, but then I'm the bad guy. Of course if I say yes and I don't work I suffer... and then they wonder why I don't have as much money the next week.

I'm wearing my "Unemployed" shirt this week cause all of my family thinks I don't have a job. I'm not sure how they think I pay all my bills.

i dont get anythign done at home...hence i am poor hahaha. besides, i would still do this part time even if i had a good salary job. extra money is always good, no matter how much it is.
