As if I would put my reputation in this industry and my company's reputation on the line to pump stocks to GFY'ers. LoL. My main business is in adult, not the market.

I made this thread to help people, LawyersSuck. I mean as if I am selling something here? Have I tried to sell anything in this thread? What is the deal with you? Were you not held enough as a child?

Haha. Too funny. Just goes to show some people just want to create drama for no reason. Hell, they will create the reason just so they can start the fake drama.

Anyways, thats my LAST response to LawyersSuck (who is probably an Aliase for another GFYer)

But no matter how many times I will say I won't post OTC stocks, he keeps on saying the same thing like a broken record. It's like, dude, give it a break already.

The gfy reach would still have no effect on pennies either, if a penny is only doing 30k in volume its not moving much at all. This guy just seems to have something out for you, he just keeps repeating himself no matter what anyone says.

such crap

interesting analysis, how long have you been using this strategy?
Do you use any traditional valuation techniques, or is all your picks based on your charts?

great thread :thumbsup

Yeah. It's like, hey, buddy, come to terms with reality, I am doing this with no motive other than to get discussions going on the market and hopefully we can all make extra money. But watch him come into the thread again and keep saying the same thing "OTC this, OTC that"

We may all have to put him on ignore so he doesnt ruin the stock pick thread that I will start in a couple of days.

I've been utilizing this strategy for 4 months now. The first 2 months I was honing the technique and still figuring it out and I ended up with a total gain of 81% in 2 months. It should have been more, but I violated my 2% rule and ended up taking a 20% Loss on a volitile pharmeceutical stock. Lesson learned the hard way I guess. The last 2 months have been much better :)

I don't use any valuation techniques, except I do look at the short interest in some of the stocks. If the short interest (meaning the % of people who are short on a stock) is above 12%, thats a great sign if the stock is in an uptrend, because those shorts will start covering, therefore pushing the stock price up even more. Most everything I do is based on the charting. The chart is like a book, you just got to learn how to read it.

Let me know when you girls get back on topic and finish with what OTC means.

Wolfy 01-04-2005 09:37 AM

so are you going to start a dedicated thread, is this the dedicated thread.. You know what would be realy cool is if you could lock a thread so only you can post in it, and then link to a thread where people can reply, get off topic, hate, etc - so people like myself with an ounce of intelligence can pick through it and maybe learn something. I assume 11 pm eastern tonight is the kickoff?

I will start a dedicated thread, this is NOT it, but I will post the URL of that thread in here so you guys can find it. The thread everyone will be able to post in so they can ask questions and we can all discuss each stock and such, and if someone like LawyersSuck comes in there to try and ruin the thread, we will all just put them on ignore, so the thread will stay on topic.

I will start the thread either today or tomorow morning (basically as soon as I find a stock that is ready to pop)

I will post the picks in that thread in big orange letters, so if the thread gets big which I am sure it will since we will post there everyday, you guys can still sift through the thread and find the picks easily, and see what the entry points is, where you should sell it, etc.

Great idea.. always looking to swap tips and such. What are you playing with today?

Maybe you can setup a web page too for the daily picks.. that way we can avoid the clutter of a message board for the most important aspects. ;)

strobi 01-04-2005 10:00 AM

Nice thread! I'm trading very diffrently from your style. I started like everybody, trading in and out of stock, holding them maybe 1 or 2 months. Lost everyhting. Took a step back, and am back stronger than ever. I strongly believe in value investing. I'm also covering my losses using married puts/calls and leveraging my trades. I'm also moving in and out of asset classes like gold/real estate when times are right. My ultima goal would be a consistent 10% return/year. If can make this... I will be fucking rich! I've moved from day to month to year to decade trader ;-)

Thanks. Yeah, setting up a website might be an option down the line if there is alot of interest in it, and it doesnt become too time consuming (I still have to run my other little business :P)but for now the board would be a great place to swap ideas where everyone can join in and learn.

Today, I am playing with MWAV and EDEN. MWAV might be might pick for tomorow, for a quick 10% gain, but I have to do more research on it here.

Strobi, it's great to have a long term outlook like that. Our styles are very different, I do have a very high tolerance for risk where as your style does not. 10% per year consistently with minimal risk is excellent though, specially when you consider that the market can really throw some curves at you at times, such as the tech buble burst. Good luck.

I hope noone's here gonna blindly follow all the tips from this topic and put the big money in the market with some strategy you've "seen on the internet"...

Good advice. :) Everyone should do their own research on the stocks I talk about. DO NOT just buy a stock because I say so.

Twe Russ 01-04-2005 12:32 PM

So where is Todays thread? Or was all this just hype and bs last night?

At 12:41 PM he lists two stocks that he is playing and of course they are both up today. In order to get any respect you have to list your picks BEFORE the market opens OR list the exact time you buy a stock and what price you paid.

I won $2.5 million on Virginia Tech last night. I took 6 1/2 points. I will tell you who I am betting on tonights usc/Okjlahoma game at 12:01 AM tomorrow.

stevo 01-04-2005 01:41 PM

Etrade pissed me off today. I havent bought stocks in a few months. I tried to transfer money from my bank account to them, and they wouldnt let me because my bank account wasn't "verified". How can it not be verified i fucking sent money that way in the past numerous of times!

I was gonna buy $10,000 of MCLD, its allready up 13% today...

stevo 01-04-2005 02:01 PM

Is ebay worth buying? I heard its stock should split again soon...

Your delusional buddy. He asked me what stocks I was playing with, I gave him 2. I didn't say I made money in them or that I bought them before they went up or anything like that. Why do you assume so much? Anyways, I am done with you. Go find another thread.

No, in my opinion, stay away from Ebay right now. The chart is breaking down here, I think it's going to $106. If it breaks the $106 level, it will dip below $100.

MetaformX 01-04-2005 02:27 PM

Guys, I am doing chart work on 12 stocks right now, out of those 12 I will post the top stocks most likely to bounce tomorow MORNING at 11 AM EASTERN time with price points and a basic explanation of what my system is. I will post the URL of the tomorows thread in this thread as well, so you guys can just come into this thread and find the URL

Lawyerssuck 01-04-2005 02:32 PM

Why is you did not post ANY stocks that are down today? The answer is you are trying to make yourself look good and most of these assholes are falling for it. Go ahead and post your picks BEFORE the market opens or give us the EXACT time you bought a particular stock and the price you paid. I am willing to bet you lose your ass.

Lawyerssuck 01-04-2005 02:41 PM

Lmao!

What a shock. Ebay was down today so of course you write it is not a buy. You are a fucking joke.

Now tell all of us if SIRI goes down to $6.80 it will go way down. This is what you wrote yesterday.

This is what I have been planning to do in the first place you dimwit. I keep not wanting to respond to you, but I can not stand by and let your stupidity go unchallenged. I have a sweet spot for morons I guess.

Haha. Is anyone who knows anything about the market reading this? So wait, let me get this straight, your saying that based on ebay being down 1 day, you can predict how the stock will react in the future? Is that what your telling me?

Haha. I love you man, you have to be someone's made up charactor. There is no way you are for real, unless you escaped from a mental institution recently. That is always a possibility.

Now I am gonna answer the SIRI question, not for you, because I am sure you will say something stupid soon, but for others who may be reading and own SIRI.

Early December SIRI gapped down on big volume going to a low of $6.80 and then it bounced back up on even bigger volume. That means that $6.80 is a near term support, so if the stock starts to retrace from here (its $7.51 right now) and it continues to come down and hits $6.80, if it bounces off the $6.80 and goes up than that means the support is strong and you should buy it right there. But if it breaks through $6.80, then the support has been broken and now it will go lower to the next support level which is $6.

Now LawyersSuck, if you disrespect me one more time, no more free lessons for you.

MetaformX 01-04-2005 08:29 PM

Okay guys, I am almost done with the research, I will post the new thread in about an hour or so, and I will post it's URL in here for everyone as well.

You do not have a clue. All you do is look at charts. What about the FUNDAMENTALS of the stock. SIRI is WAY over priced. They are losing a ton of money ($225 MILLION LAST YEAR AND IT WILL GET WORSE THIS YEAR). Just because they keep selling subscriptions just means they will lose more money. This stock is headed south in a big way. Your $6.80 price is a bunch of garbage. This stock is headed under $5.00 within the next 6 months.

Now go look at their competition. That is the company to invest in. They will make money where SIRI will NEVER make money unless their managment learns how to run a business and not just look at sales. Now go tell everyone who their competition is.
