Horrible Time with Webair Support

I kept hearing about webair great hosting so I decided to purchase a test vhost account. I spent 30 minutes on 'live' support yesterday trying to get my account to work both on ICQ and their internal messaging. I was left hanging for hours after a few short sentenses in the IM.

Why would I move a rack of servers in a place that leaves me hanging like that?

When I asked a similar question I had massive responses about how awesome webair support is. Funny..

Giorgio_Xo,

thats odd how did you try contcating them? you can go through 24/7 live person chat via webair.com or call 1.866.WEBAIR1 24/7 any time...if you have an issue with that for some reason call my cell anytime and ill get you a tech there are always techs areound.

516.650.1501...hit me on aim or icq ill get what you need taken care of ASAP

Keep in mind we prefer not to use ICQ as its not the best program lately communication wise and we keep logs via LP as well.

I talk to Webair support on the phone and get my problems taken care of instantly. I also get phone sex from a hot AZN at the same time. Webair is good to me.

Web Air is the best out there no question...And it doesnt help that the man in charge of everything (Mike) is one of the nicest guys in the business...Hit him up and i'm sure he'll get it taken care of....

...Something tells me this was more of a userend problem then a webair problem....

No.

It's a Webair problem. I didn't force the support tech to stop helping me after I submitted my issue and he responded. Your belief that the technical issue being my fault some how justifies the Webair tech's lack of attention to service is ignorant. Normally, I would tell you to fuck off, but I am in a happy mood. Run along.

u sure your talking about webair, I have been using them for a long time and one of the reasons i stick with them is the quality of support.. sure bw is cheap at any host but it comes down to support and webair has my vote!

I've never had a problem that wasn't taken care of ASAP.

I said it all in my post. The conversation (or lack there of) was all done via the Webair live support system.

I added you to ICQ. Thank you for responding.

Sometimes it's a matter of who you get.
Some guys help you np, others just say they will and dont.

I have had the same problems, poor support on the live chat. Even had one guy go home after 2 hours of telling me 'wait I'm working on it'

Have had tickets stay open for many days without any response.

Webair have TERRIBLE tech support.

Live chat guys don't know what they're doing and tickets take several days to get resolved.

Maybe it's only on virtual accounts though.

Yep, I'd have about 12 servers with them, but when I ordered a new server all my domains were down for a while, because they transferred the domains but not the files... even though I wanted no downtime and was just going from a virtual to dedicated account with them.

I've only had dedicated with them...but i have a hard time believing that you guys have put in your full efforts....I've been with webair for a long time and they go above and beyond...quite frankly it pisses me off to hear people ruin their good name...
