On the way from the airport to your hotel have the driver stop at a mini-mart and pick up several gallons of bottled water unless you want to drink tap water.
Someone else posted about lotion. It is needed while in Vegas in a bad way. Plus you can use it for lube if needed. |

GREAT idea - get SEVERAL cases - it's like $5 a bottle in the hotel and $5 a case in a supermarket. |
Cocaine seems to be pretty popular. Xanax and Vicoden are probably winners as well. Ya can't forget to pack those convention necessities. Also remember to keep the marijuana tucked behind your socks in your dress shoes in your carry on bag for easy scanner evasion and transporting.
You probably shouldn't pack the cocaine in the carry on bag and instead you should Fed Ex it to Las Vegas in advance. There are dogs at the airport looking for people like you. Customs come down hard on those kinds of things but you can always have it waiting for you on arrival. Of course you need to do several rails as soon as you get in your hotel room and throw a television out of the window to get motivated to do business with your fellow webmasters. Nothing says, "I'm here to do business" more than slinging something past people's heads from the 27th floor. If the TV is nailed down, a bottle of beer or alarm clock will work just fine. *Note* If you really want people to notice do something different like tossing the ironing board out of the window and let it glide into the pool. This is Vegas after all, so please try to make it different and more exciting than the Hollywood expo. The advance shipping method also works for your gun as most of us Americans already know. When you people from other countries walk past the front desk and you see a standard Fed Ex or other postal box behind the counter you can rest assured that it is a fellow webmaster's 9mm or .38 caliber gun that has been shipped in advance and is just waiting to be picked up. Don't forget Las Vegas is the wild west so 1 out of every 4 people you pass has a gun in his pocket. You know how we love guns over here! Welcome to America! :thumbsup |

The one bit of advice I can toss in, include a change of clothes in a plastic bag for your flight back, this way you can fly home without the smells of your past week (good or bad) and not smell like Vegas for that 6-16 hour flight home. :thumbsup |
Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer is must for Vegas...
It's the best way to avoid getting sick after the show... :winkwink: |
Business Shoes
Super Pimp Shoes Casual Shoes Slippers Your feet will thank you if you take care of them.. Bring some rubbers too if you are single.. A pair or two of Shorts, The nights are nice sitting in a hot tub after walking forever... Remember all paperwork you need.. also, it helps if you remember to bring your flight itinerary and hotel confirmation numbers, and also have a mapped out list of the parties you will be attending, structure is key at these events.. and you will find that even with structure you cannot meet all timelines.. Imagine how it is when you just wing it.. Also, bring plenty of change with you.. Tipping is a must in vegas.. Tip the taxi or limo driver, the bell hop when he checks your luggage at arival, and the bell hop when he drops off your luggage at your room.. Also, its good to establish contact with a taxi driver that can be around to pick you up at any time if you call his cell number, I have multiple cities with peoples names like so "TAXI - City - Name" with their contact info so that I can get a ride from someone who's been a good driver.. Thats a sliver of my advice... |
Also if your going to attend the parties, for the love of god pack some breath mints...
Every year someone will want to talk to me a party where it's very loud and will be yelling at me with some hideous halitosis breath... It would be nice if they would handle their own hygene, but last resort is giving them a mint...;-)) |

Smoking a mentol does not mean you will have good breath!!! LOL!! |

Sleazy, I know you mentioned passport and I'm sure most are wondering "Why?".
If you are flying you really need to carry a second form of picture ID in a seperate spot from your driver's license. Because what happens if you lose your driver's license? It happens all the time. You won't be able to board an airplane without I.D. and forget about renting a car to drive home without a driver's license. |
PURELL or the like.

Not true really, I know someone that lost their license in the ocean at the miami show. Lots of hassles, couldn't go to bars, but was able to board the plane... He had called the airline in advance to let them know what happened etc... Big fucking hassle though, bring 2 picture id's. |
ipod with lots of music
its gonna be a long flight :thumbsup |
I am not going to have to worry about packing.

It depends on the security level. Sweet T lost his and could not fly back to Atlanta. Lucky for him he had a party bus and rode back on it. However your average Joe doesn't own a company with a party bus. |
Gum. They do not sell it in the casinos, they claim its because of damage to the carpets but a person who's chewing gum isn't a person swilling down free drinks and losing money in the end ;)
