ATi Radeon x600 PRO, 256MB
80Gig hd

Prime components.
..pretty much the works, for dirt cheap too.

Check it out here:
Athlon 64 3400+

If you're interested, reply here or use the contact info listed on the site...

For the people who will search the net now and find better deals or say you can now get a socket 939 or get the FX, or whatever....

Save it please. Of course you can get that stuff, but not at this quality for this price.

This is the 1MB L2 edition, much faster then the 512kb L2 Edition's...

Well, its recommended to upgrade with the same type of ram each time you upgrade, although not necessary...

The ram that's currently in it is one stick of PC3500, and it goes for around $210.00 a stick.

But I can probobly put a nice stick in there for another $150 or so.

What kind of programs are you going to be running? I honestly don't think you will need two gigs at this time, esspecially on that PC. I'm using a pc similar to that, and I can run Photoshop, Avid DV Express, a few IE pages open and dreamweaver and it doesn't even phase it...

And just to clarify, this is a brand new PC. I sold a similar one just like this, pretty much the same components except for the hard drive and graphic card were different to another surfer on this board, Greg Atherton and he is in love with his system..

I also sold a system to BDjuf a while back as well...so you know I do quality business

Pretty sweet deal. If I could I'd buy it.

With the shipping + the taxes I'd have to pay I'd end up paying 5 times that price....

Well, shipping to Brazil might be around $100.00 or so...and no, you wont have to pay taxes. It will be sent as a gift so customs can't tax on it.

I apologize, I don't make laptops. Just PC's.

I can tell you this though, if you are doing work on a laptop, you cant go wrong with an apple powerbook.

I'm trying to talk myself out of ordering the box right now.

How loud is the machine? I know Antec/Aspire make good parts - should be mostly the WD hard drive clickin away.

Honestly, this is one of the quitest PC's...

The case itself has what's called "Quiet Computing" technology. I at first thought it was BS when I read it, but that case now is the only case i use on all my PC's..

It has two 120mm virtually silent fans, that still pass air pretty damn well. The WD hard drives I havn't had too many problems with as far as chirping goes. But I promise you that you will barely hear any noise from the system when its running..

And like it says on that page, the PSU has an adjustable fan on the back, so if you're pushing full load, you can turn it up all the way, if you're just browsing, designing, etc... then you can put it at the very lowest setting and you wont hear a single thing.
