Thats pretty fucked. That fine line they have crossed.
|
|
Anyone who wears those in public, is asking for a good beating.
|
|
This is normal. It is normal to see someone try to profit from a tragic event.

Ev |
thats so sad, I was going to buy a shirt from them before I saw that shirt that had "ni-gg-er" on it
|

Still absolute fuck wits, hope they have the guts to wear them themselves, see what kind of response that gets them from the public. Ev |
that's funny shit. i gotta get one of each of those.
|
Can't make everyone happy. For every one person pissed off by this there will be 5 that will buy it. :2 cents:

The first two seemed a little tame for them. They made up for it with the third. :1orglaugh

You really expected them not to touch this?
|
Come on now guys...
What line did they cross? Is there such a line when it comes to making things? They are built and known for their very offensive and over the line shirts so why does this surprise you? Everyone profits off disasters...And most don't donate to the cause... Reality Check...People do what they want and no matter how much bitching and sending in stupid emails you do...It ain't gonna matter... People are gonna buy em... Oh and I think it's funny...Not enough balls here to wear em but hey...I have bought quite a few tshirts from them and what? I will continue to... Jon |
I just bought 5 t-shirts. What are some other good t-shirt sites?
|
oh that is such bullshit, people are dieing and someone is making money off their missery.
But I'm sure they didn't have the balls to make "I was in Ground Zero on 9-11". |
I'm sure alot of KKK members will love them

http://shirtfreaks.com/ http://www.bustedtees.com/ I think tshirt hell has the best ones though.....but I give this one an honorable mention: http://shirtfreaks.com/30/images/ts-black.jpg |
it's ok to make humor of tragic situations but to profit by having fun at the expense of others is just wrong! guess that's why they sell so much because we all have different opinions on issues...
|
Trust me there are worst TShirts than that in Thailand

The most offensive part about T-Shirt hell is they are just not funny.
I'm sure they think they are, but then so do most people who clearly aren't. |

yea, thats the only one that actually disturbed me. the rest arent that bad, i've seen worse on tshirt hell lol |
Before you bitch and cuss about how tasteless and offensive this line is, make sure you're not being hypocritical.
Satire always has a "victim". Perhaps this is the first time you've reacted negatively towards such a thing, but remember that all the times you've laughed at satirical statements there have been people who feel the same as you do now. |
I think the shirts are funny... but its probably too soon...
|
The only thing I find stupid is that some dumbass will buy a shirt instead of sending that money to the relief fund.

the last one isnt funny.
Just wrong. But if it didnt have the pedo comment it would be killer. |

How far is too far? Every person has this imaginary line and for some people all of us porn peddlers are WAY across that line. I might not agree with their views or be in love with all their shirts, but I'll never say that they don't have the right to speak freely and put out their products. As business people in the adult industry, I think that we just have to be very careful about the speech that we deem "obscene" or "over the line". We all have the right to like or dislike it as individulas, but we don't have the right to stop anyone from saying it.
|
not really over the line because tshirthell were already far fukin past it
|
i love how people who peddle porn can sit here and point fingers and who has or hasn't stepped over the line. Yet you'll cry when people say we do exactly the same thing.
Bottom line is, if you don't like it you have every right NOT to buy it, but to sit here and chastize someone for profiting on someting that is "questionable" is a little hipocritical :2 cents: |
NOFX has made good points.
I must say we work in an industry that is BASED on freedom of speech. We always say if you don't like it don't look at it. It's fucking simple people. Don't like the shirt don't fucking wear it. They have every right to put that shirt out. They put that shirt out for the simple fact that it will piss people off. That's the point of tshirt hell, to make offensive shirts that will piss people off. We peddle porn so we have no right to ever try to censor anyone for any reason. If we did then we are in the wrong industry. |
Most likely no one will wear one for a few months. But you never know. There are a lot of stupid people.
|
I wonder how much more traffic they got because of this attention.
|
Only a complete idiot would wear that garbage.
It's sad that people even produce this stuff just for a quick buck  |
Don't like it? Don't buy it. To 50% of America your job is way over the line, do you want them to hack your servers down to BradM?

|
Right after 9/11, I had a shirt made up that said, "If you do not sleep with me, then the terrorists have already won".
Everyone loved it. |
those are awesome...but that was not the right moment to release that...
