No, the bottom line is what I said it was. The fact that you are a sad, bitter troll has nothing to do with it. I'm pretty sure you aren't the authority for what constitutes a good enough donation. Until your donation matches those of any of the countries in question, please feel free to fuck yourself.

US Tsunami response debacle has sealed America's reputation as a greedy, bigot-infested, murderous nation of under-educated and overfed tards.

The decline of the west is speeding up, and few people will shed a tear as America slips into the abyss.

I have no love of the Bush administration but your comment is offensive. The US and the people of the US are always there to assist in any tragedy, this one is no exception.

You are as ignorant as those you accuse of ignorance. Remember one fact there are millions of Americans who are from the affected nations and they have families effected by this tragedy and they and other Americans will and are doing much to assist.

Boy, it sure got fucking quiet in here all of a sudden.

The Other Steve 12-31-2004 12:36 PM

Australia already has people on the groung helping - they were there within 48 hours - we have our airforce flying a constant stream of supply and evacuation flights - we have mobile hospitals, mobille morgues, water purification plants and much more already there.

We were the first to get people into Aceh and - we have teams of Army construction engineers and their equipment on the way.

And while we're at it just divide the amount of relief dollars countries are giving by the population of those countries and you will see which countries are giving the most - and for God's sake get some up to date figures on the amounts donated - Australia has now pledged a total of 70 million.

So stop beating your chests and give some money to these people instead of bullshit hot air.

arial 12-31-2004 12:44 PM

US just upped it's aid to $350 million.

Spain on Wednesday announced the largest single contribution - $68 million

Canada's government has pledged 40$ million (*NOTE: more than americans but you wont find CNN reporting we are giving more than USA)

The United States is offering a total of $35 million,
Japan with $30 million.
Australia and Germany have now pledged $27 million,

i don;t think it has something to do with the fact that he doesn't like the president, what i understood is that countries that are a lot poorer than US (spain for example) offered a lot of help while the US even though its a huge superpower didnt offer that much..

I also think Saudi Arabia didn't offer that much, if you take into consideration the amount of oil they have and stuff! :Oh crap

(CNN) -- -- The United States will increase its aid pledge from $35 million to $350 million to help victims of the tsunamis in south Asia, CNN has learned.

The increase followed criticism that the initial amount was far from enough

glad to see Bush reads GFY !!

The US is doing everything possible to kill the UN, including now... with this disaster...

" The US will be a leader in the coalition of relief" ....

This is why the US is bashed, not because they give less or even niothing, but because they bragg about being the leader, being better, richer and finally doing not so much... The should STFU....

Just here there was a thread by Metaman ( a canadian want to be american) laughing that france gave only 100,00.00 Euros ... That was right away money, like the US gave 400,000 $ right away.

BTW, they need water, meds and food more than $$$$...

:2 cents:

its fun watching bitter little kids bitch about their betters

"boo hoo, the US brags about what it does."

here's a clue rabble, go do something worthy of bragging and life won't be so bitter for you. :1orglaugh

Hell.. yet another thread about how big my dick is!!

I'd hate to rely on some on GFY to cover my ass at any time - they'd all have their dicks out doing comparisons of who is bigger and who has the most money in the bank and how little or who much each "pledges".

If ever stuff was any more divorced from any reality - this is it!

Millions in your own back yard would need to be stone cold dead before ya even began to get a clue. Even then, you'd have to find someone to blame.

Sami 12-31-2004 04:36 PM

I think George W read your thread!

US has promised 350 million now! :thumbsup

dready 12-31-2004 04:42 PM

You didn't mention that any Canadian that has had a relative affected by the disaster can sponsor them for citizenship. They'll be instantly fast tracked through immigration. At least 5,000 new Canadians are expected and no limit on the number has been set. That's worth a LOT more than any $40M.
