Thats one Yankee I always really liked..

Won 4 World Series with the Yanks from 96 to 01 I believe..

Good Vet pickup for the Yanks..

The Yankees should be banned from baseball. If they land the unit they are saying that the yankees payroll could be double of any other team in baseball. For last year alone their luxary tax for paying so much to players was higher then most teams payrolls. Whats the fucking point anymore when one team can do that?

To be honest. I am a lifelong Yankee fan. What most people fail to consider is that their stadium is packed when the Yankee's come to town. Living in the Tampa area now I can tell you that the normal crowd of 3000-6000 per game is always dwarfed when the Bombers show up. And this is the case in a buch of smaller markets. Baseball owners are not poor. They make decisions based upon their own thoughts and beliefs. George wants to win and isn't afraid to put his money out there to do so. The real question is why do other owners refuse to open the wallet? Other then the owner of the Red Sox ( probably the richest owner is baseball) you won't see one owner complain about the Yankee's pay roll because it's good for business.

Well Tino made it back - what to say, he always played pretty good ball.

I get upset sometimes when I see the yanks get alot of outstanding talent. But what can you do when there are really no limits in spending in BB. Luxuary tax, LOL.

MY mariners got a couple of good players so far, I hope they continue with more through spring training ;)

I love the whole evil empire image the Yankees have..

They have the guns. They have the talent.
They sell out every ball park they enter with fans going to see them, and fans going to route on thier team to try to take em out.

ITs great for baseball.

Has everyone talking, and everyone wants to beat em..

The Yankees are a reflection of America.. They have the power. And the Talent.
And everyone under em wants em beat..

God loves America, and he loves them Yanks.

I watch baseball just to watch the yanks..

When Boston and the Yanks go at it, thats the best of the best right there.

The Drama is great.

Its Great for baseball, and great for the baseball fans.

Fuck Communism in baseball.

The WWE couldnt write a better script than that of the NEW YORK YANKEES.

The ultimate bad guys to the little man.

Killing and beating up all in thier way.

That is until the world series..

Goin in as the favorite, the bully, the team to beat, only to loose to the little guy..

The Redsox, the Marlins...

Its great drama.

Not even the WWF could come up with such storyline and drama to get the fans jumpin.

Its fucking great.

Good - another over-the-hill ballplayer the Yankees scooped up.

Randy was a good pickup - he has one more good year left in him.

If the Yankees do not win this year I feel for them and their fans. To go out and spend that much on a team you better win!

Tino is a good pick up for the Yankees.

It makes me feel that they will throw a team out there this year with heart. The teams that won between '96 and '00 always did one thing that they have the past few have not. Those teams each had a few veteran players that knew how to win and wanted to win before their careers ended. Some examples would be Wadd Boggs, Chili Davis, Tim Raines, Cecil Fielder, now this year its Tino. We all know his best days are behind him but he has the drive and know how to win. He loved being a Yankee and he's a great fit coming off the bench.

Welcome back Tino!!!
