I love it how every American claims to have driven at least 140mph in their crappy sedan. If all of you really did that, at least some of you are posting from the jailhouse right now.

Anyways, I maxed out my Jaguar at 250km/h on the German autobahn once. I don't like driving this fast with a V12. When you get put the pedal to the metal, the whole bonnet lifts up and comes down again when you take your foot off. Very scary. I'm usually one who loves cruising around.

Close to 190 mph or so in my Supra, I wasn't looking at the speedo much, I think I was around 5500 RPMs in 6th gear. I had 19 inch wheels on the car as well, so that could've made the speedo read a little lower.

I went for a drive with him and he knocked me back in my seat launching from ~45 and he didnt' let up until he got scared he couldn't take a corner. I believe he hit 150 or something foolish, was enough for me.

2001 Audi A6 2.7t - 140 MPH on the GSP in NJ. Then my wife realized how fast I was going & freaked out!. 55 the rest of the way home.

A little over 120 (197Km/hr) in my Jetta. It's not supposed to be able to go that fast as it's only 90hp diesel, bit it did. The handling was like it could go way faster np if it had a bigger engine.
