They had a spot on Google's top searches for 2004.

One of them was "pink". They said it was a fashion smash for men and women in 2004.

I'm surprised the top searched term was "RV", as in recreational vehicles.

Overture searches in November:

61207 rv
33296 rv rental
29503 rv trader

Sluts seems to be winning out according to Overture. I think CNN probably ignored results like "sluts" for their report.

However, "rv sluts" got no searches, which supports your theory that the RV seekers don't intersect that much with slut seekers.
