Mainstream Processing Solutions?

I am looking for some Mainstream processing solutions for an e-commerce website. (selling our own inventory hard goods) What do some of you gurus recomend? Going through a local bank or an existing online solution etc.?

I may also be looking for e-commerce consultants for an upcoming project. I can market and build a site but shopping carts, merchant solutions etc. are still new to me. If anyone here offers e-commerce consultation at a fair price hit me up on icq.

thanks.

mainstream merchant accounts are dime a dozen, grab one then use netbilling, very simple integration, considering your just passing the consumer info to the merchant thus eliminating any sensitive consumer info residing on your servers. As for a shopping cart, just use OSCommerce, open source and about the best out there regardless of it being open source

Thanks for a push in the right direction. I was thinking on a more complicated level then I had to. It appears a ton of time will be saved with a company like Netbilling handling a lot of needs bundled into one package.

Open to any other opinions as well. Recomendations etc.

All netbilling is, is the gateway, dont get to thinking they handle everything. Get a merchant account, mainstream ones are simple. Use netbilling, maybe on their 45 cents per transaction option. Its really very easy

Although they aren't a merchant bank, Netbilling will help you get a merchant account to process with. It really is a one stop shop. Mitch will set you up nicely.

Say Hi to Karen and Erin, the Netbilling Angels, for me will ya.

BTW - modernauthorize is an authorize.net reseller. No comparison to the products and services that Netbilling provides.
