No, what you are looking at in those 2 photos is the ocean has receded and an adult and a group of children are on the shore checking it out. In the bottom pic you can see that all those people have ran out to the receded water line and now the tsunami is headed straight for them. I bet that guy standing in the foreground in the second pic saw all those people die.

On an aside, I'm amazed how Ogrish gets away with copying and pasting from other sources, then worse modifying them, such as branding the images with their Ogrish.com domain name ... how they can legally do that is something I've often pondered.

Getting back to the topic at hand ... very chilling picture ... sure makes one realize how fleeting life can be.
