I am also down for this type of game. 1000 buy in tournament style no limit hold em poker game, I don't think winner should take all, it should be like a 60-30-10 split... Top three get paid..

We can even use my suite if you guys are interested... Hit me up if you want me to help set this up...

If you are going to do this, I recommend we use http://www.thetournamentdirector.net/ to manage the game on a laptop.

It'll keep everything nice and orderly and on time and will track the results and manage seating for a multi table game.

Dito, I am the same. A month ago I bought all these books on poker and have been Tivoing poker challenges and going to AC to watch but I am not ready to play with the boys!

If i had 1k to waste, i would be going to Vegas, and not be in shcool.
