I'm sure glad most of you shy away from Starbucks. Some of us enjoy the lack of competition.
To hear you "big webmasters" bitch and moan over a $4 cup of coffee is refreshingly funny.....and insightful, too.
Here in Mexico, they haven't a clue about what's good coffee. They make expresso with regular coffee grounds! Most coffee here has cinnamon in it (not to my liking).
THEN, Starbucks opened in Guadalajara! I'm saved! Some of the best and most beautiful leg strolls into Starbucks (on either side of the border).
I have two other coffee shops I frequent but Starbucks is now "in the mix" and they get my business about 3 times a week now. Plus, now I know which days are the "good days." Just park the Harley out front and figure out which one I want to give a ride.
Yeah, you guys stay away. They're too expensive for you. A business full of posers.

I love going to Starbucks to work in a new environment or just to get away and think. Since I work from home, sometimes I like to just get out of the house and be around people. The only problem is that by the time I leave, I feel like my heart is about to explode from all the caffeine. I'm surprised no one has had a caffeine seizure in their parking lot.

It's a fad. Well maybe not...lots of coffee drinkers in this fast paced North American life. It's true that there are always attractive women in those places though. I don't know why. I stopped drinking coffee quite awhile ago so I never go into those places anymore.Comment
