Nothing beats New York. Nothing. It just doesn't. Clean air is nice and all but I'm not exactly choking every day when I wake up. The other cities are scenic and all that stuff but after you get finished strolling through the friggin park what do you do then huh?

I imagine after I pop out a couple of kids and loose my lust for chasing hot women NYC might not be my number one. Who knows, I might slow down so much that a cabin in the Swiss Alps would be more suitable for me. There's a slim chance of that, but it's possible I guess.

In the meantime, any self respecting, pussy loving, big money making red blooded male under 50 has to consider New York number one followed closely by Miami. Anything after that is gravy on top of the potatoes.

Zurich, Geneva and Berne are not in the Swiss Alps... :)

Interesting. Would everyone from the US (on this board) say that NYC is the best place to live in the US?

I thought LA or SANFR are cool places

Have you seen the Vancouver women downtown in summertime? Hershie, you know what I'm sayin :winkwink:

I'm definitely on the slow train to Vancouver. I should be getting there by June. I heard here are massive amounts of exotic women there. :)

Still, nothing beats NY for having the best of everything at your fingertips (except clean air) 24/7 365.

Not suprised to see Vancouver there. I would love to live in English Bay for a few years.

I should have gone with my instinct and bought property last year in Argentina when their currency got seriously devalued and the economy pounded. Damn, it has rebounded already. I am reading lots of good things lately about Uruguay and their beach resort Punta del Este.

Another safe investment bet I missed out on was investing in Croatia along their coast. It has become very hot and people are saying it is the "new Spain" as in the Costa Del Sol region. Heard it was a bargain but there has been a real estate boom there over the past 2 years. Damn again.

yup, a lot of people are going there for their vacations. But i must say, its not a second spain ... i dont like the beaches in croatia that much

Believe it or not my brother likes spending his summers in Turkey and he's really impressed with their resorts. As for Spain aren't their coastal cities too crowded during the season?

I am looking for the perfect blend of warm ocean resort-like area in an exotic setting that has yet to become over-run with tourists but is starting to catch notice and makes for a great investment opportunity while still being a bargain to live and rent out my place when I am not there.

I have read many bad things about this report,
it does not take important factors suchs as climate and cost of living into account.

Of all the cities in the world I've been to Barcelona is deffinately the best!
Cost of living is low, it has nice weather most of the time, it has the beach and then the Pyrenees like 30-40 minutes away for wintersports, a great nightlife. Basically everything you can ask for in a city :2 cents:
