Trillian Upgrade and ICQ Disconnecting

must be in the upgrade.
I just trurned mine on when I read this thread and it prompted to go for the upgrade. I told it "no" and it seems to be working ok. delete the new and try to download the old version.

Where can I download the old version. Their site no longer has the old version available.

if you have the paid pro version, just email trillian. their tech support for pro is really fast and very good. you will get an email back today

I've had no problems with Trillian.

Try reconnecting ICQ... I just laugh when people say ICQ doesn't connect (when they use the stand-alone ICQ).

That's why it says alpha. Seriously though, i'm using the alpha and haven't had any problems at all. It crashed on me once and i've been using it for about three weeks or so.

I think the problem is ICQ's network and doesn't have anything to do with Trillian. My ICQ has been up and down the past 3-4 days....

I installed 3.0 and everytime I pressed Ctrl Shift A in Outlook Express to mark all messages read, Trillian would pop up. So I disabled the event in Trillian and now Ctrl Shift A don't work in Outlook Express.

I just loaded up 3.0 like an hour ago and had probs till I upgraded to pro. I'm just gonna buy the damn thing and hope the support is as good as Sean says. I had no problems at all from the old version but I couldn't find where to download it from.

icq would be just fine but it won't take over 600 contacts so it won't even start up.

I have been dealing with the same problem all day. I am Pro and emailed support early this morning...yet to hear back from them.

I must say it really sucks to not have ICQ.

Oh btw, does anyone notice that V 3.0 of Trillian loads super dooper SSSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW?

If you have pro and need an older version they have it in the archives when you login. If you haven't got pro the get it. Better features and far more stable for some reason.
