Weirdo VBscript fucking with me. Help!
I just started getting all these fucked up warnings about something changing all my files on my HD that have .html extenions. So I took a look at the source code and all of them have some vbscript way at the bottom that I didn't put there.
I think it might be one of those shitty email virus' things but I have no idea how I got it. I never open any attachments. DAMN! I've gone over 5 years with out a virus... now this. Anyone know whats happening... Norton isn't catching anything. |

If you've got 95, 98 or ME...
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->Click the 'Windows Setup' tab->Click on 'Accessories'->Click on 'Details'->Uncheck Windows Scripting Host I believe that'll slow down what you've got. From there you'd need a virus scanner. Have you updated your Norton definitions lately? Folks in the alt.comp.virus newsgroup are usually pretty helpful. |
