I need to find out where the Crazy 8's are playing on New Years Eve. They were my favorite band growing up. They played here in Eugene a couple of months ago and I hung out with them afterwards. One of the members told me they were playing one final show in Portland on New Years and I really want to see them.
So if someone can find out where they are playing and how I can get in I would be really thankfull.

here you go. looks like they are playing the roseland. Got this from willamette week.
Roseland Theatre

don't know much about the Crazy 8's but the Cherry Poppin' Daddies put on a great live show.

Looks like that will be a good show, may have to try and make it up that way.

Yeah the daddies are great. I was upset they didnt close down the Eugene Celebration this year, it was a tradition. But seeing the 8's after all these years more than made up for it. I saw them as my first band when they opened for the Clash in 1983 at Mac Court.

SIde note, one of the band memebers is now a school teacher in Portland. that schools fight song is Johnny Q now. That was there best song. It was in the national top 10 for several weeks in a row and they played it on the Tonight Show when they won the Northwests best band of the year.
