Here is the
debris field for American Airlines Flight 191 that crashed in Chicago back in 1979. There wasn't too many pieces that could have been recognized as coming from a commerical aircraft.
As far as no one claiming to have seen a jetliner crash into the Pentagon, you have to stop beliving that bullshit from France, I could find plenty of quotes from the 11th on that said they saw a commerical jetliner crash into Pentagon.
