If you were to build a Mainstream site. What would it be???

Anything...like - Loans, properties, scooters, pets, clothing line.

If you had one choice of anything, what would it be? What do you think is hot right now and can do well?

Just curious.

I think you're well connected in the scene that this system is for. We're working on the system for NY right now, we've done a few major cities in canada. LA & Detroit are after NY

Beercozyworld.com! Yup, that's my dream. Everybody on this internet thingy are gonn a one day be able to get the best beer cozy. No more cheap styro-foam cozys that can't keep your Pabst, Old Milwaulkee or other premium beverage cold past the second lap of NASCAR race. No more lukewarm Mr. Pibb or RC Cola for your kids!

One day me and the missus are gunna move out of our doublewide and live in the lap of luxury off of that idea. I'm looking for investors now. Dave if you want to get in NOW I can give you an early investors percentage of 49% for $20.

I was thinking about doing something with clothing lines. Since i am already in the mainstream world, i was thinking about expanding my thoughts, and sticking my finger in many different things.

Thanks.

Not my product but the invention of the companies.

We did the entire infomercial in-house to include all post production

It was on TV, it didn't do that well BUT it got a lot of government interest and we are now starting to impliment a robust program in public schools all over the U.S.

Basically the company retooled to go into the direction of schools, government and corporate sponsorship and is now doing quite well!

Online hunting. We set up a rifle with a scope. All controlled by by you. I will set up a tripod and you aim and fire the rifle on my private land, from your Lazy boy. I will even process the meat of the animal and ship it to you. I even have some set up for target practice. All real rifles and shooting real bullets!

Although I love food and meat. I can't stand those hunting shows. I think its so unfair to act like a dear, make sounds like ducks, put fake ducks out in the water, get dressed up in camaflagh however you spell it.

I think hunting should be one on one with a bear, just knives, no guns. Not a big dear standing in front of you.

Great business Idea though.

I'd want to make an online community. But a free one. Somewhere where people can have their own profile page, send private messages, chat roooms, message boards, etc. But free for anyone to use and sign up. I'd just use banners, etc to turn a profit. I think those kinds of communities are greatly under served.

Are gambling sites considered mainstream?

I had an idea for a news/humor site. Basically, we'd have a few people read newspapers, mags and online news sources for stories where the author got it completely wrong. Either misunderstood the situation, lied for an agenda, etc... and email the author, get some sort of response, and perhaps antagonize the author if they were really wacko. Then post the shit on the website, exposing the facade, and telling the real story with some indepth research and factual support. That hasn't gotten going yet.

A buddy created an online workout log, doing really well so far. About 300+ subscribers so far.

A few other things, but those idea are in the vault.

I often think of setting a site up where you can buy/sell businesses and websites online all over the world.
It's not new, however I think a good generic domain and programmer is all that is needed.
I am far to busy, so feel free to run with it

No, it was a cool idea but the company went in a different direction before it could fully develop the site.

I'm going to start moving into the mainstream area after the new year. I have an idea on how to make some money from the online gaming community (not gambling) that I want to try out.

guitar tablature is usually constructed in text with lines and numbers, not very userfriendly.. well how about a service from which members can use a tablature system to write their own tabs which display on that flash guitar neck (it'd be dynamic obviously) It could definitely take over the current tab sites. Downside is it'd be a lottttt of work. Could also be transformed into an online guitar training service (bass and possibly drums as well) for a minimal fee.

Portal Sites

I am in the process of building 2 online portals.

1. Band.com
2. Production.com

The first will service the music industry and the second will service both the music and film industries.

Dave don't you own a music label? When I am further along I would love the chance to chat with you about some of my ideas for Band.com

Great domains. How are you planning on setting up Band.com? I had an idea awhile ago - although some of it has been done before, on your domain name it could really compete if it were done correctly. A service that allows bands to host their own personal page and showcase their mp3's (been done before) - each band member can have their own login/bio page/skill page.. A "find a musician" feature for bands looking for likeminded musicians.. Contests, Rating systems, Internet radio, etc...
