they all kind of suck big time

domain doesn't matter a whole lot unless it's kinda major... like sex.com or porn.com. Barring that... your domain might not make a huge impact.

What you put on it... well, that won't matter a whole lot either unless you can generate a lot of traffic. If you're just starting at this, chances are that you'll find it to be a major struggle to get a lot of traffic no matter what your domain is.

Traffic is the key... do you know how to get a lot or do you have any contacts that can help?

hmm... that will give you a very small burst of traffic for a month or so and will end up costing you a lot more than you think.

I strongly suggest doing some research on how to generate traffic. If you can't bring people to your sites, it won't matter what you put on them.

Asscamp would make a hell of a reality site of young women going to camp to learn how to take it in the ass...

I don't think anyone is opposed to you starting anything. Infact, it's always welcomed to have more people with more new ideas.

Here, have a look here:
http://www.cozyacademy.com/classrooms/index.asp
http://services.ynotmasters.com/promotion/
http://www.adultchamber.com/getstart.shtml

And make sure to check the links to other resource sites that they list too, because there's more with more great tips and advice. But these ones are a good start.

my frind built www.masktv.com from the ground up.. i could easily get him to make me an entire site..... is that one of the major costs in starting a site? the webdesign??

or would the freesite route be better to start out with ?

Maintenance/updating and increasing traffic are the main costs. Webdesign cost is minimal.

See, this is where you need the research... your friend didn't build masktv from the ground up. Actually, I did. Your friend took it over AFTER I had built it to a stable base. Feel free to ask Jackie and Allen.

Anyway, like I said, it doesn't matter if you have the world's top design and most content of any site... if you can't get people to it, no one will sign up.

heh... uhhm.... that might get you a logo and a few sets of content. To tell you the truth, if you want a paysite that will generate any kind of revenue... be prepared to spend 10x or 20x that amount.

And yes, that's even if you have someone designing it for free.

Turn asscamp into a niche faketgp with anal pics etc..
See this thread for reference: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=316981

You don't even have to buy traffic. Submit 2 galleries with camelion submitter, with you own recip in the galleries and build up traffic step by step. That works

There is no golden rule that one domain is for a paysite and the other is for a free site. You just have to go with what you think will make the most amount of money. With a pay site, it costs a lot of money to keep it going and get it going. You have to pay the VISA fees which is about $750, you have to keep the content constantly updated, you have to promote it anyway possible, you'll need an affiliate program and try and get webmasters to sign up for that, etc. There are a ton of factors to a paysite and if you dont know shit about any of them, I guarantee a failure.

If you want to make a TGP, you can have a blast trying.. but its the same shit different pile. You need a TGP script, you need a traffic trading script, you need people who will trade with you, you need hard link exchanges to get your PR up, and every body and their mother has a TGP so dont think there isnt enough competition to go around.

You can try by starting out with submitting galleries, but then you'll find out that auto submitting doesnt make sales unless you know what you're doing. Hand submit to a bunch of big TGP's and you wont get listed anywhere, etc. The bottom line is this isnt some industry where as long as you put in X amount of hours a day you'll make a killing. This industry has ut throat competition and unless you're smart, you wont make shit.

Hit me up on ICQ if you want to chat about your ideas.

There is no more money to be made from Internet porn. This place is actually just a message board at a mental health facility for retired adult webmasters that are having a hard time coming to grips with the reality that the game is over.

I am still in shock that someone actually got help on this board. A newbie nonetheless. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Sorry, i might have misread or mistyped something when i was talking to him. I built http://www.maidensofmasktv.com/index.html from the ground up, and run MaskTV.

Anyways, don't get discouraged dude. people said the same thing about google when it tried to enter the search engine market. I even thought it would fail miserably. that market was dominated by yahoo and altavista, and now look at it. So it CAN be done. But yeah, the autosubmitter submission thing is a good place to start to get traffic. I'll speak further with you about that on msn.
