    I am watching the classic "The Last Starfighter" made 20 years ago. It got my wife and I talking about movies from our youth we would like to see remade.

                                                                                                                              Although I'd like to see it not re-done, but instead insert the shark sequences into it digitally to make the shark more life-like. Redone? I don't know. How can you replace those characters.

                                                                                                                              What we need is another Jaws movie of the quality of the original Jaws.

                                                                                                                                      I also believe that if they digitally touched up the Jaws of 1975 with enhanced digital effects and digitally inserted a kick ass shark, and then released it wide to say 3500 theatres, it would be a blockbuster all over again.

They really could do something with todays special effects etc. My fear is they will fuck it up like they did with The Day After Tommorow and change the story.
