50 ?'s
..........

Oliver is 100000% honest.

It was obviously a glitch.

I am 100000000% certain that Oliver will make sure that every single person gets every single penny they have coming to them.

tradermcduck 12-23-2004 11:58 AM

I have noticed this payout percentage drop 2 weeks ago, checked http://www.oliversmoney.com/ where it says...

'11/22/04 We have noticed some problems with changes to the payout percentage on some webmasters accounts. If you notice any change please contact us right away. It's an easy fix and you will not lose any commisions on sales.'

I emailed Glyn, this what he wrote...

Should be fixed now please log in and check your stats just to be sure. Sorry about the problem we are still trying to figure out exactly what happened. If you have lost any money from sales while your were at 1% please let me
know so that you can be credited. Let me know if you need anything special to help promote Oliver's Girls.com we love to help. And thank you for being an Oliver's Money webmaster.'

So to me it is clear Glyn had no intention to change the payout from 60% to 1%.

Ludedude 12-23-2004 12:01 PM

These things don't happen on their own and a simple mass email to all his affiliates would have solved it if it did.

Shame on you Glyn.

Oliver Klozov 12-23-2004 12:30 PM

Anyone can be a Monday morning quarterback!

Still waiting to hear from any webmaster that lost any sales.

Full payment plus 50%

For the record, Glyn will take care of the problem if you contact him.

Um, I'm not sure what that all means, but I can tell you right now there's not a snowball's chance in hell that Oliver would try to steal from anyone. I've known him for years and he's one of the most honest guys in this business.

In case you don't know, he runs a VERY successful mainstream studio business including some very brand recognizable ad campaigns he shoots for, and adult is NOT his first priority here.

Putting up a notice the first week of November in his affiliate area letting people know there were potential problems was a completely aboveboard thing to do. I can't say as I blame him for not mass emailing all his affiliates, then there'd have been at least ten people on here raising the gallows on him for spamming his affiliates and getting the noose ready.

slapass 12-23-2004 12:57 PM

BS no one would have bitched for mailing the affiliates. Putting a message int he members area is teh minimum he could do. I doubt any of this was on purpose but he did not go out of his way to resolve it.

Go out of my way to resolve what?

At the time there was only a hand full of webmasters with a problem. That's less than 12 out of 10,000 plus webmasters. If I emailed every webmaster every time someone has a problem...... well you get the picture.

Even after all this no one has yet contacted me about any lost sales. I'm not saying this doesn't suck it does but this did not effect everyone.

And most of all no one is going to lose any money owed to them.

Ludedude 12-23-2004 01:36 PM

I know much more than you give me credit for, let's leave it at that.

I like Glyn personally but from a business standpoint your argument holds no water. Emailing his affiliates would have been the proper thing to do. All of them. That's all I was saying. If you feel there's a deeper meaning there, then all I can say is nope, all I was doing was commenting on the immediate situation.

No one that I know of has ever called out a sponsor for informing them of a potential issue via email.

To date I have only received 11 emails with this problem. And none of those had any lossed sales.

Rowand, I got your email this morning at 9am you sent it to me last night at 7:20 pm, sorry I don't work 24hrs a day. From what I can see you have made no sales in the last 2 months, do you see anything different?

If you or anyone has lossed any sales contact me and I will make good plus a bonus of 50%.

Any webmaster with sales made while set to 1% needs to contact me right away.

That is a bunch of B.S. Anyone who runs a CCBill Affiliate program knows that your affiliates are in 'groups' and you can change the percentages/payouts of the ENTIRE group with one click. Oliver's program may have been mistakenly set to 1%, but it seems that his mentalilty is "If the affiliate doesn't happen to notice it, oh well...more money for me." That is just bad business

Ok smart ass go ahead and change anyone of your affiliates to a new group. Then go back and see if they really got changed. You will find they did not get switched! Go ahead and try it. CCBILL has a problem and they are working on it. I called them to find a work around but if you just simply "assign" an affiliate to a new group it does not work.

We only found a few affiliate that had this problem and none of them has lost any sales what so ever.

If I have missed anyone contact me and I will make good plus 50%

Are you an affiliate of Olivers Money? Did your payout get set to 1% did you lose any sales?

Seems like your just trying to get you sig in on this thread.

You got a point there.

CCBill - Bill 12-23-2004 05:21 PM

To Whom It May Concern:

The problem that many of you may have experienced within the CCBill Affiliate Program is explained below.

The Group Affiliates system is a trickle down system in nature. To further clarify settings applied to a group will also be applied to individual affiliates related to that group. Because in some situations group payouts were not updated affiliates were still receiving their original or prior payout settings after being added to a group.

If Affiliate Group settings are not updated after adding a new Affiliate to a group the group settings will not be applied. In order to apply group settings to an individual affiliate the group must be updated. The CCBill, LLC Client Help System explains in detail how to do this.

For additional information please feel free to contact the CCBill, LLC Client Support Department.

Thank you so very much! Im sorry you had to go through this today, but I am thrilled that there is now an understanding on the grouping issue and the rebill issue we had last year finally has another firm and explained confirmation.

I agree with Minte, I've also known Glyn for a few years now and used to keep in close contact, he helped me out a lot in the past and I just couldn't see him intentionally doing that.

Like others say, he did post it on his website, so he had nothing to hide.
