TonyL 12-23-2004 11:11 AM

Right now I have a 03' BMW M3, 04' Chevy Tahoe, 05' Hemi Durango and my baby the H2.

You will never get more attention driving any other car. Not even a high end sports car pulls the kind of attention this car gets. And I have had a lot of very nice cars. I feel like im invisible in my Phoenix Yellow M3 compared to the H2. Amazes me every day. Granted mines a little more pimped out then most so it gets more attention then average H2. Im going to buy another H2 this spring I can't wait.

The only other car I have considered buying early next year is a Chrysler 300 Hemi (400+HP AWD). Slap some 22's on it and it looks like you have a Bently.

I bought one the first day it was out in the dealership. I had lots of fun with it. It is a cool car, but I sold it recently and I do regret it. I will buy one in the future. A very fun toy. Get it

What a waste of $$$.

Jake 12-23-2004 11:24 AM

Fuck the haters bro, I'm quite sure they've never even sat in one! The H2 is the ultimate ride. Once you've driven it you'll never want to drive another vehicle. I cry everytime I go out of town and have to drive a rental! Just don't let your wife drive it or she'll demand one and then you'll have to buy another. I guess that wouldn't be so bad!

Don't do it ...

wait for the H3.

TsunamiVortex 12-23-2004 11:35 AM

Buddy I used to work with had one. I wasn't impressed. It's big, that's about it.

PersianKitty 12-23-2004 11:37 AM

I'm waiting until Spring for the H3.

Moose 12-23-2004 11:55 AM

Buy it dude.

I have had mine a little over a year now and it is still a blast to drive. I have had mine from the dunes at pismo beach to the desert of arizona and its the best machine I have ever owned. Most of the crap you read on the net about it is just that "crap" . And most who say what a peice of shit it is drive some sort of econo shitbox.

shuki 12-23-2004 12:05 PM

Stupid investment.

See my sig.

potter 12-23-2004 01:32 PM

H2's are such p.o.s.

They're oversized "grocery getters". It's just a big minivan/suv with the letters "HUMMER" stamped on the side.

Anyone who does any sort of serious off-roading will laugh in your face if you mention an "H2". They might be alright for taking the kids to soccer practice, or looking "cool" to yuppie fucks in your hometown. But other than that it's an oversized plastic molded refridgerator.

If you want a Hummer, buy a real Hummer. not a fucking H2.

Nanda 12-23-2004 01:36 PM

I love that car, I say buy it if you like it...who cares what everyone else thinks! That car rules!! :thumbsup

Between a H2, my Navigator on 22's and my Corvette Im due to still be the local gas station's best customer.

The kids there all know me by name.

I tend to attract the strange people.

Doesn'tthe State of CA have a by-law about have so many gas guzlers?

Not this year. Too busy launching new stuff. Plus im so out of touch with the adult industry since we shifted away from adult to herbal a couple of years ago it's really only going to be for fun if I do go to Internext.

You're not buying a Hummer, you're buying a GMC Suburban with different sheetmetal.

Cyndalie 12-23-2004 02:06 PM

1. Gas isn't getting cheaper.
2. The damn thing will be outdated in a year when the H3 comes out.
http://trucks.about.com/library/grap...3_rrsd_sml.jpg
3. Because it's so freaking trendy it shows a lack of originality.

Gas is getting cheaper.

And yeah the price of the H2 is going down becasue of specualtion of the H3..
Especially with used ones..

But the thing is, the H3 is fucking UGLY..

It looks way too off road military style.

Where as the H2 is a great urban street vehical with off road influences.

boneprone 12-23-2004 02:13 PM

I havent seen one pic yet where the H3 looks attractive..

Maybe I just havent seen enough of it, but I was really not impressed, and really turned off by it..

Anyone have any good pictures of the H3 that make it look desirable?

Cyndalie 12-23-2004 02:13 PM

Well... they were the best reasons I could think of. :) Good luck regardless of what you decide!

Mr Pheer 12-23-2004 02:33 PM

Just do like I do.

Buy what you want because YOU like it, and dont give a fuck what anyone on GFY thinks. When you close the browser, they dont exist anymore. Its like magicly disappearing people.

I kept my H2 for 9 months then I got bored with it and moved on to something else. Only car I have kept longer than 2 years was my C5 vette. My wife blames it on high income and short attention span.

chodadog 12-23-2004 02:35 PM

I hope it's for your wife.

But in all seriousness, it's a huge piece of wank.

Semi-Retired-Dave 12-23-2004 03:03 PM

As an everyday driver, not the best. I have one but good thing I don't drive it everyday. Sounds like you already have an SUV. Why do you need two?

abyss_al 12-23-2004 03:10 PM

i think the H2 SUT is alot nicer..

Snake 12-23-2004 03:15 PM

Boneprone, either one of these mignt serve your purpose

I know you're into the street scene, but imagine the view from this one and it would definately be the most fucking rude street ride. Also, no lift laws in Oregon!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3756 693&rd=1
Now this model is probably more your style, Gucci:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3532 809&rd=1

Either way I think you can still get a nice tax break on an H2. You can write off the purchase All you need to do is use it for biz and I think some BP4L.com graffics would give it some credibility.

Yeah the first one is not my style.. But the second one is more up my alley!!

I still havent bought it yet, and still havent told my wife yet..

See you in Vegas?

killshot 12-23-2004 07:10 PM

H2's are alright.. but not my style

My neighbor owns a H1 and he rents it to tourists for $500 a day

I really need to come up with something i can sell to tourists...

slapass 12-23-2004 07:13 PM

Don't buy used. You can't take the tax break.

Tax break loop hole has been filledm, nobody can get it anymore =(

MarkTiarra 12-24-2004 12:14 AM

I looked at them and was adisappointed in some small points for the price... like the chrome stuff just being plastic, etc... Seems it should be a little more highbrow for that but I still love the way they look.

I ended up getting a Nissan Titan though and got a bunch of custom stuff done to it. It's most fun and obnoxious. =]
