Image size problem

Im having a tshirt logo created for a small womem shirt.
I will use a high dpi (300) but im confused by the size it should be. I mean i create a www.blahblah.com logo in photoshop at 300 dpi but what height and width should it be to fit nicely on the front of the tshirt. I dont have a printer and cant test it. Anybody any suggestions?
Thanks.

View your size in inches instead of pixels. That should help.

Yes the 24% is about the size you will get when you print at 300DPI

The logo should whatever the actual size on the shirt will be. In other words, say the you want the logo to be 5x10in. on the shirt.

Then your photoshop file should be 5x10 at 300dpi.

If it's a logo(no pictures), you would be better off using a vector based program, rather than Pshop.

hee you have to use the actual print size that you want. 4 example if you want a print that is 20cm X 20 cm then you have to adjust that in photoshop.U could also design a logo in freehand or another vector program so that u can save you image as eps file so that the quality will be the same. no matter the size of the print. I work as a graphic designer 4 a big clothing company. If u want to i can help you out. contact me at: [email protected]

Create it at 8.5" X 11". Then change the new psd to 300 DPI.

that spec will keep you safe. You can also call the print shop and they'll tell you the exact specs you can use.
