search function gone?
I thought with the new version of GFY there would be a working search function. Now there isnt a link for it, so is it gone for good? I thought they were suppose to have a dedicated server set up for it weeks ago

alright... lemme cover this again.
vb 3 is set up so that if something is "disabled" then the link is removed entirely. Its' still in the system, it just doesn't bother to show you something that you can't use anyway. The re-indexing that vb 3 does when it sorts out all the posts from before the upgrade can take a VERY long time... I'm talking hours, if not days. So just because you don't see it, it doesn't mean it's not there, or that it never will be. |
