chargebacks are not only easy on adult sites...

    but also easy in stores.

i went to target to take a rug back and the girl was a total bitch, would only let me exchange it for another rug because i supposedly used it. i told her i didnt and she pretty much called me a liar.

so i ask to talk to the store manager since she was the return supervisor. she wouldnt do anything so i called the customer support hotline as i was adised, all he did was talk to the manager and tell me he cant do anything.

so i called american express and told them the situation and without even questioning me they did a chargeback.

i never thought it would be that easy, i can only imagine how they are with online transactions.

Its not that easy. Used to own a retail store. Its easy to request the chargeback, but the retailer has 30 days to supply the credit card transaction reciept with your signature on it. Once they do that and prove that the transaction was legit, the chargeback request is denied and you are billed.

We have customers who think in order to cancel an order online, they are supposed to call their credit card company and charge the money back.
Its pretty crazy how so many people think this.

I know the number to a super secret Circuit City hotline that almost guarantees you a refund if you call it. But thats off topic so I won't mention it any further.
