Listening to the best of Stern, and he's talking to this Korean woman that enjoys eating dog as food, so I did a google. I have 2 German shepherds and love them as part of family, but I have to say it's a cultural thing as much as I am disgusted by it. Example: I like tripe and pigs feet stew, do you? It's a big world I guess. (sorry about the size) The post would be useless without an image.

I know the cultural arguments, I know that Im a hypocrite, but I still cant help think its wrong.

If I walk up to a cow its going to piss on my feet and walk away with a disgusted look on its face. If I approach my dog it will kiss my face and hump my leg.

In India cows are considered holy.
Muslims would not eat pig meat.
Most Englishmen would not eat horse meat.

In the Netherlands its pretty normal to eat this kind of meat..

No dogmeat however. But it could be very tasty.

Maybe these pics look disgusting, but walk into a slaughterhouse in an western country. I'm sure you'd find it disgusting as well...

im not grossed out by the fact people eat dogs, im grossed out thinking they eat stray dogs. Like if you found a dog in a back alley and made stir fry, I wouldnt eat that shit. But if you breed dogs properly for consumption purposes then hows that any different then eating pigs?

I have a neighbor who eats dog..

He likes to freak other people out by telling them how good their dogs look

I don't have a problem with people eating dogs.. its just another animal.. and a lot of people eat animals..

I'd probably try it if it was offered to me.
But mostly I stick to eating seafood

One of my goals is to try pretty much every type of animal in the world. I am a dog lover, and have a dog, but if the circumstances were right i would eat dog too.
Free range naturally fed animals are so much tastier than our farm animals, ask any hunter.
