Ain't happening. I have a 40 gallon hot water tank. At 15 minutes I'd be stepping in to enjoy the cooling water getting rid of any steam left

15 minutes of water going straight down the drain? That's like 100+ litres completely wasted. There has to be a more efficient and environmentally friendly way to do it, maybe some kind of device that could generate the steam independently.

You could also just try a low-tech radiant heat lamp.

Hubby likes hot showers, but our water gets hot fast, so there is no need to wait 15 minutes. I like my baths... I have a whirlpool tub that I'll lie in for an hour. But, until my boobs heal from surgery, I'm not allowed to take any baths .

if I have a purification system in place to filter out the chlorine in the water, sure...other than that, absolutely not...

I have a natural gas water heater that I'm told was built for a house twice this size. I love it. Never a worry about being the last person showering and getting cold water. My master bathroom steams up nicely.
