:1orglaugh Cool - as long as it helps you get closer to your goal - it's always good!

Thanks everyone - I had a mental day running around with christmas shows & taking pictures & then finding an ICQ blinking madly! Kids are now sleeping (thank the lord!) and now it's my time.....hihihi

All you have to do is look at Redd at any adult convention - there's always 15 people hanging around her, and the RIGHT people. Says something.

She actually started off as a webmaster, so man reps don't have a clue when it comes to a website.

yup, I remember when she was a newbie and asked endless questions...

hell, I remember when you were a newbie and asked questions ;-))

I remember when I was a newbie and a total idiot and not much has changed since then....

As a sales/marketing/affiliate/company eyecandy/webmaster rep, I can tell you that it can sometimes be a thankless job...I spend an average of 6-10 hours per day helping with link codes, textlinks, site critiques, custom content, custom gallery help, etc. but I enjoy it when I see someone I'm helping have that proverbial lightbulb go off and figure things out or have a problem solved for them.

Sometimes, it even causes me to fall behind on other day to day projects/jobs but it's part of what I do

I know there are days when I get tired of answering the same question for the 40th time or have 5-6-7 ICQ conversations going at the same time and occasionally get them mixed up with each other, but I enjoy it. I also know that by helping that affiliate, they increase their sales and thus my income is increased. That guy who might only be sending 10 clicks per day could turn out to send 1 sale a day, then 5 sales a day and so on with the right guidance and a little push in the right direction.

I could teach them to build tables and one day they could go on to run their own programs and make their own name for themselves in the business...(and yes, that's happened ;-))

Can't quote you SykkBoy2 - but:

It's quite rewarding to be able to see people that looked to you for guidance step up to the plate and hit a home run. People like that don't forget where they came from.
