GFY Peeps.....
I am having problems with my computer, I'm using windows xp, should I install Windows XP Service Pack 2? I can't even download Windows Media Player! I have it as one off my programs but It will not open it up?
 Thanks for any help!

Should I try re-installing service pack 1? I am not to smart when it comes to this shit, so any help would be useful

try and do windows update, it helped me when i did it or try adaware

Yeah that sounds like the work of Gator. Gator/Gain has got to be the worst program out there. I have removed it from so many computers that it scares me and costs $75 each time I do it. Typical symptoms, no internet access, stupidly slow interent, pop-ups when not online and other programs crashing for no obvious reason. THe reason is that the longer Gator stays on the more resources it takes up.
