I was spouting off about how I think it's foolish to delete photos of ex's and such, after you're no longer together, and happened to throw in that I have a bunch of naked pics of my ex girlfriend on my computer. I think it was the 3rd date that I mentioned this. I told her I have them, and they're memories of my life, and why would I want to get rid of memories? Good or bad, they're a way to reflect. That was my point, anyway.

So we've been together for a month now, and last night I mentioned something about this neck pain I've been having ever since I was lying on top of my ex a few months ago, and all of a sudden she bursts into tears and says "you keep talking about her! I want you to delete all the photos of her off your computer!" It took over an hour to calm her down. So I went and backed them up... for better security, and better safe keeping.

I don't want anything to do with my ex girlfriend now, because what's done is done, and she's a nut now. But why do women think that having a photo in one's posession is somehow a prerequsite to getting back together with an ex? It doesn't make much sense. It's just a record of my life. That's all.

I feel for ya. Most women are psycho jealous. Insecurities, most likely due to things that happened long before you ever came into her life, and making her even more irrational than most women are anyway.

I'm drafting a letter right now to my husband, who I've caught snooping through my emails and im logs like I don't deserve his respect and trust, when, in the 13 years I've known him, I've never given him cause. So I feel ya. I'd hate to break up a family over snooping, but it's not just snooping, it's a lack of trust and respect and both of those are vital in a relationship. So I am seriously considering taking some kind of action. I can't blame you for wanting out.

i'm jealous sometimes.. although I try hard not to be.

I do find alot of jealous men out there.. so what it boils down to is the jealous persons insecurities in their relationship.
I can see her point.. but you guys have only been going out for a month.. if this were a long time realtionship..then yes, she would have a bit of reason to worry why you would even want naked pics of an ex.

What if she kept naked pics of her ex and wouldnt get rid of them...have you put the shoe on the other foot? that sometimes helps t o understand.

I've thought about that, and I can kind of see her point... but I'm still firm in my believe that memories shouldn't be deleted. I like to reflect at times. Let's me remember where I was back then, and what I was going through. I think it helps me more clearly see where I'm going in life.

Why do you need memories of your ex girlfriend anyway? The reason why she is your ex is because things didn't work out and you have both moved on. You obviously haven't moved on if you're still keeping naked photos of her around.

Sounds rather dumb and immature to tell your girl that you deleted the nude photos but then back them up anyway. You've only been with her for a month, shouldn't you be trying to focus on creating new memories instead of hanging on to the past?

Its one thing to have pics of your ex...the Nude part is what would bother her... But would you want to know if she had naked pics of her and her ex?

guys are just as jealous if not more than women i think. i've always tried not to be but it isn't easy at all. especially if you are with somebody who is desirable to alot of people. one of the worst years of my life was spent with a girl who was a '9' in the looks department, you would have to be the most secure guy in the world OR a guy who just doesn't care one way or the other to be able to deal with being with a girl that everywhere she goes, works, shopping, clubs is going to get hit on or chatted up by more than one guy. i actually think that girl was one of reasons i started getting panic attacks, not the cause, but part of a bunch of things that laid the groundwork.

i think guys are relieved when their gf's dress down most of the time and leave off the makeup in regular day to day life.
