A while back (when I was 20 years old) I was all set for Monday Night Football. I had a six pack, a pizza and my favorite team was going to be playing and I was pretty damn happy. Just as the game was about to start, my girlfriend rang my doorbell.
I liked her a lot (she was HOT) but man I felt torn about her showing up. She ended up staying and watching the game with me (she ate some of my pizza and drank some of my beer and asked a lot of football questions).

When I imagined my dream "football" night, it didn't include her . . . at least not before and certainly not during the game.

Now, I think I enjoy Sunday night football even more than Monday night because I almost always have to go to sleep before the Monday night game ends.
