Not a very personal touch, I doubt they really mean it at all.
If its not genuine dont bother saying such things.

Damn I didn't realise how much I missed you Intergrated. The board has not been the same since you stopped posting.
 Note - I did not say 'welcome back' and I probably won't feel this mellow next week - but it's Christmas and there has to be some time of year when we should all at least tolerate those members of society who are more eccentric than ourselves.
