*****webcams.com*****

I thought you might be interested in this domain that I'm currently brokering.
Let me know if you are interested - you can contact me at the email address below

webcams.com
------------------
TRAFFIC: 15000-16000 visitors a month (94% of visitors access the site directly via type-ins/bookmarks)
MARKET: high-potential, high-value online adult area, or possible use in webcam supply etc.
OWNERSHIP: same owner since 2001
PRICE: looking for an offer in the 150,000-200,000 EURO offer (which personally, I feel is an absolute steal for a domain with such potential and base traffic!)

OTHER INFO:
- domain has not benefited from any marketing, SE optimization or paid listing initiatives so, as you can see, the traffic is all the more impressive.
- Google returns 18,900,000 results for the term "webcams"
- Overture returns 496011 results for "webcams" and the term plus extension (webcams.com) was searched 1257 times last month
- Fundorado are currently renting webcams.com, but their lease expires on December 31st!
- The adult industry is one of the fastest growth areas on the web today
- The term "webcams" is universally recognized and is not subject to misspelling or translation mistakes.

Kind regards,

Domain Brokerage

i bid on this name on sedo about 6 weeks ago, and sedo told me they couldn't get a reply from the seller. i only initially bid very low, $x,xxx.00 but that was just to start some dialogue with the seller or in the hope the seller wasn't aware of its true value. but sedo couldn't get a response from them after numerous attempts. having said that the price which they're looking for is out of my league, though probably a fair price.

It's possible.

Sedo is known to whore themselves all over the Net/forums, posting up prime domains in efforts of expediting the for-sale process.

KRL never buys at a high level. I don't even bother sending him names any more.

Update: webcams.com already has a $150k EUROS bid, so that takes care of most here.

Yes indeed. But they're locked into selling at $150k euros now. If the "bid" "falls through" they'll buy themselves so more bad publicity.

I'm torn, I somewhat agree with you.

But then again, I don't think much interest will be generated exceeding 200k euros. In my opinion, they've backed themselves into a lucrative corner anyway you cut it.

By avoiding the ever-so popular, yet evasive approach whereas you state "entertaining xx figures" - They flushed out all the bottom dollar six figure, "$100.000 cash, right now" email offers. Came clean, and now 'should' only field offers from those of which who have genuine interest in the $250k+ (USD) region. Not a bad strategy,
