    Can you get personal info from a hotmail account?

    Hey all,
    Got someone sending me some hate mail from a hotmail account... is there any way to figure out who they are? Haven't pissed anyone off, so that's part of the reason I cannot figure out who they are. Is there anyway to get their IP or anything like that? Any help would be appreciated.

      what type of "hate" mail? there used to be an easy way to get in to people's hotmail accounts. if you forgot your password you could click on the "forgot password" link and it would ask you your "secret question". most people put stuff like girlfriends name, favorite color, etc. with enough tries you could eventually get in. i screwed with some of my friends doing this. now i think they ask you a number of questions including your city, state and zip, so it would be tough to get in an account of person you don't know.

              If you do, try logging as them and if you know anything personal...

              try putting it as the password. birthdate etc

                      who cares man, if they're sending from a hotmail account they're obviously just coawrds. just delete the emails and continue on with whatever you're doing.
