20 thousands leagues under the sea
Journey to the center of earth
In search of the castaways

I LOVED those books as a kid, I think I red them at the age of 10 or so.
However, I have enjoyed some books by Wilbur Smith recently.

Oh, Just took a look in my bookshelf, and remembered that I have red all of the 'star wars' books and a lot of the discworld books, both highly enjoyable 'soft' reading, especially the discworld books.

Who's a nerd? me?

In no particular order, here are a few of my favorites:

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (all the books)
Falls the Shadow
The Wheel of Time (books 1-7 are the best, 8-10 fall off a bit)
The Hidden Persuaders
The Happy Hooker
Stranger in a Strange Land
Rocket Ship Galileo
Glory Lane
Farmer in the Sky
To Sail Beyond the Sunset
Every book Dave Barry ever wrote
Pretty much everything Isaac Assimov ever wrote
The Sand Kings
When Christ and His Saints Slept
The Darksword Trilogy

I read about 2 zillion books per year so I am just going to stop typing before this gets out of hand.
