When did the Presidents of The USA get back together?

Just saw a gig listed for here in London and bought tickets straight away. I know it sounds strange but I saw them in '95 in a place the size of a closet in Boston and it turned out to be one of the best gigs I have seen (even if I liked the support act Supernova better).

They probably suck now but worth a shot.

was it the Middle East? I can't rememeber, trying to think of small places around here

Bills Bar or maybe the Paradise?

I was at that show too :-)

I heard one new song since they got back together on the radio

I think it was The Paradise. It was a great show and if you were there that is freaky All I had heard was 'Lump' at that point and had just started college. It was my first non-stadium gig and set me up to love small gigs forever.

first album is one of my faves for when I just want fun music. The second was less brilliantant and lost a bunch of the wacky vibe. Like the record company wanted an album full of 'Peaches'. Some of their non-album lps were good. Somewhere I have 'Fuck California' on blue vinyl.

Just listened to that one. I like naked and famous. If only I knew what my future would be involving when I first heard it.

I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket who opened for the B - 52's

I'm almost positive I was there, I remember Supernova and not much of the Presidents
