Verio hosted sites hurting because of SPEWS?
Since 90% of the spam I get (the latest from nakedmail.com, which is already listed in spamcop) is hosted by Verio.net, I've decided to drop all of verio into my deny tables and use the SPEWS which also lists lots of verio (and lots of other spam tolerant isp's). I'm wondering if anyone here is hosted by verio, and if they're noticing any problem causd by such things like SPEWS, Spamcop and the RBL.
The major problem with spam tolerant hosts like Verio, cavecreek etc is that they not only get put into public block lists like the RBL and SPEWS, but get dropped into hundreds of private block lists and have little chance of getting out again. I'm also interested to hear if anyone here actually uses the 'double opt-in' lists that some spammers are selling, because several of my email addresses are in them, and I didn't double opt-in to anything ![]() ------------------ ClickCash - Better than 1:99 and $50 for signing up |
