    question about overture suggestion tool

    This question is for people who have worked with the numbers on overture..

    In your experience, are the number of searches on overture larger than the real number on google?

    So if overture shows a keyword as having xx,xxx searches for the month, would it be usually more for google??

    In other words, is google bigger than overture??

              You need to remember that Overture uses match driver to associate plurals and misspellings together. So a keyword such as "anal" will be a clustering of misspellings and plurals. This will skew the number from Overture rather higher so making a definitive correlation between Overture and Google numbers hard to estimate.
