    Why do people...

    Tell you that they want to see how good of a designer you are and then ask you to throw together a few "samples" for them to look at without paying anything?

    Even when you have a portfolio posted online, they still try to get free design work out of you. Does this happen to you a lot? Do you demand full payment before you design anything?

                  happens all the time. I'm usually a pushover about it too.
