    Protein Shakes...

    I started taking them in addition to me going to the gym 4 times a week

    as you are probably guessing, I am looking to build mass, gain muscle and weight.

    what do you guys think of them?

    i think they work.. actually i know they do. Keep liftin. dont stop bro. I learned my lesson when I moved. I stopped lifting for like 3 and a half months.. and my mass has gone down. but it will back as soon as i start lifting.

        if you want to build mass and you have high metabolism try weight gainer shakes instead of protein shakes, they have just as much protein but way more calories. stick to those though, if you do that and work out 4x a week you will do good. i like to stay away from creatine and all that other crap.

          I had great results with creatine last year... As soon as you go off it though you lose some mass

                                            Cell-Tech is creatine. Nitro-Tech is protein. The 2 of them together will give you excellent results if taken properly but I personally would only use Nitro-Tech. Remember to always drink a shake after you work out because that's when your muscles need the protein the most in order to rebuild. As always, do your research.

                                                Protein shakes are the best, I buy 40lbs for $150. Great price. Dont bother with weight gainers. They do have more calories but they also have a higher serving size than whey protein. Creatine is also good. Creatine does put on water but that extra weight allows you to lift more, thus build more muscle mass. Creatine has been tested at many independent universities and it does NOT cause harm to the body.

                                                  Dont waste your money on Muscletech products. It's way overpriced. It's better to buy in bulk, but if you gotta go name brand go Optimum Nutrition

I prefer to get bulk natural (unflavoured) protein, cause then if I take it to school and have to use water I bring koolaid to mix in, but if I'm at home I just mix in some chocolate powder with milk. Natural unflavoured protein is great for this, cause who wants to have a chocolate drink that consists of powder mixed in with water?

Isolate is the way to go if you're serious about gaining mass. And 5x a week, for a highly metabolic person, is too much. The more you work out the more calories you burn. For a highly metabolic peson it's best to go 3 times a week; back & bis, chest and tris, and legs.

                                                                                                exactly. you ask all these kids at the gym, "What is your diet". They'll answer "I eat as much as I can" or "I dont have a diet". Actual food is a hell of a lot cheaper than supplements. Lean ground beef and cottage cheese is all you truly need, though you'd get sick of it quick. Water is also important as well
