You get more fucking stupid by the second. In the UK 'Indians' are referred to as 'Asians' all the time, but then most people here know where they come from. The communities are usually referred to as Asian communities from government downwards. I can only presume that in the circles you move in everyone is as stupid as you and has no idea what an Asian is so doesn't do this.

Oddly enough a lot of Americans know what an Asian is too going by this thread - genuinely surprising.

1. Saudi Arabians are asians and arabs, both are correct. ARABS is a more specific group.
2. Russia is in Europe and Asia. And yes some russians are asian and some european.
3. Australia is a country and a continent.
