Tax write off experts - Chiropractic adjustments - Tax deductible?

So last weekend I decided to play football and took some pretty hard hits. When I sit for long periods I'm getting sciatic nerve pain. I went and saw a chiropractor today and it helped A LOT.

I did some reading and people who sit for long periods of time are prone to sciatic nerve pain. I'm wondering if I could write off weekly adjustments?

I wonder if other things like acupuncture and massages would could be written off too? If you think about it, sitting in front of a computer can induce a lot of problems and since it's business related shouldn't treatment for these alignments be tax deductible?

If anyone has insight on the subject it would be appreciated!

It is medical. But going to a chiropractor is nuts.

Why? I think chiropractic adjustments have a bad rep because of all the bad apples out there.

My chiropractor is amazing, he takes x-rays and image scans to identify inflammation and does effective adjustments that make a huge difference.

LOL, I was going to say, it would cost me a helluva lot more than $200 to have my own personal tax accountant.

About 2 years now, don't see him regularly though. I first went after a bulging disc in my lower back. Had severe pain, couldn't even walk, lay down or sit comfortably. Went to primary who referred me to a orthopedist. Orthopedist basically offered steroid injections, surgery and/or pain medication as options to reduce pain/inflammation.

Then was referred to my current chiropractor, he did x-rays and a thermal imaging scan.

^ That's an actual picture of the scan.

He did a few adjustments along with a soft tissue manipulation which dramatically reduced pain. Ever since then I was convinced that chiropractic adjustments were effective. For me it was a much better solution than drugs, injections or steroids.

Hmm, yeah I mean I don't go to a chiropractor for just any reason. The first time I ever went to one was to alleviate severe pain, and it was effective. Since then, I see him anytime I have pain and he's been good at reducing it.

Beyond that, I can't really argue what type of damage in general a chiropractor may or may not do.
