1:127 today

angelsofporn 12-11-2004 06:23 PM

cant complain at all today..wish every day was like this

V_RocKs 12-11-2004 06:58 PM

Sales per day in this month:
2 1:705
3 1:398
2 1:661
3 1:394
3 1:1090
5 1:714
0 0:3822
0 0:3097
0 0:4326
0 0:3202
0 0:3368

Now divide 3 and 5 into my hits each day. You will see that each day had I received the sales I would continue on with a 1:700 - 1:1000 ratio.

This is very strange. 5 days, ZERO sales but I am selling like normal on every program that doesn't go through CCBILL's hit tacking (the sponsor uses NATS for instance).

Something is going on... Do I need to stop promoting CCBILL when the sponsor doesn't have their own tracking software?

CCBill - Bill 12-11-2004 07:39 PM

V_RocKs,

Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we can run more tests to verify that you are being credited for sales. The test I ran yesterday with my credit card worked and was credited, but I'd be happy to test this further if you'd like.

sean416 12-11-2004 07:58 PM

I see a thread like this everyday. sheesh. Just because you're having a slow day with sales doesnt mean the entire CCBILL network is slow. Contact your rep and find whats up if its bugging you that much.

GotGauge 12-11-2004 09:12 PM

I added a Bunch of TGP traffic, and now my ratios are bad, what gives?

The above is True, with sarcasm!!!!!!!!!!

Your position seems to be that, ?well, its an issue that we are all having and you need to figure out what is happening and solve it??and that is respectable, but i was analyzing a clients reports yesterday afternoon, and we saw that due to some changes he had made to his sites, his average member retention went up in Nov. compared to 6 months/a year ago?his size was significant and the retention for his site had improved, so it does not appear to be a global issue with cancellations

We can look at your account Mon, if you wish, to plot out your cancellations and get it checked out

Corvett, you won me over.
I already looked at the information CCbill provides -very complete-in numerous occasions. I will take a closer look in the next few days and will contact you only if I am certain I have found factual data. Otherwise, I will be wasting your time as well as mine. And neither of us can't afford to do this. Thank you.-

Sure little mikeboy. Feeling better now? Is nice to feel like a stud, huh?

Now, go lick your balls for a minute before honoring us with more of your moronic wisdom.

I personally don't rely on one processor.... I rely on many... Have never had any problems with CCBill.... That's just my
:2 cents:

BlingDaddy 12-11-2004 09:51 PM

Ooops...... 50 credit card processor whiners......

Rainmaker 12-12-2004 03:12 AM

hy777 is making very good point.haha10;haha10;It's not a rumor anymore that Ccbill is having some seriuos troubles with cc processing. I read other webmasters on boards telling they have an awful conversion in december and late november. All that considering the fact that traffic amounts and it's quiality is the same.haha10;haha10;I personally have 3 to 4 times less signups this month. This december is actually the worst month in 3 last years for me.haha10;I would really like to know what's going on with Ccbill because "winter slowdown" explanations from Corvett don't seem to persuade anyone here.

V_RocKs 12-12-2004 03:41 AM

I am currently working with CCBILL to figure this shit out. My next step is to signup at the sites and see if they end up in my admin or not. Which I just did... and it did show up... ATKcash I have sent over 44,000 hits to the sponsor with no signups ever. I have no other sponsor with this occuring. None.. Nothing even remotely similar. But my test signup showed up. Can it be possible that I am just having my 6th day now of nothingness from CCBILL? Perhaps... Another test also showed up....

OK... we will see how it goes.

damn 0:44k hurts

GoLiaT 12-12-2004 04:21 AM

i always see a drop in sales end of november and whole december
i have been doing this since 1996 and i have stats from day 1
january usually goes up 30-40%
if you have shitty days now there is now reason to worry
a sponsor that say he is doing the best month ever now
could have picked up a couple of new affiliates this month
that sent a nice pack of signups but for you as a reseller
you only have your own numbers to refer to

Calvinguy 12-12-2004 04:25 AM

December is always a good month.

JoeA 12-12-2004 08:30 AM

I've just spoken to another UK webmaster and between us we own 9 pay sites and only one new sale in the last 24 hrs between us.. Not even a denial email :(

But a test sign up works... So what is happening to the biz... Are surfers enjoying our free hosted material too much and getting off on that...

This is perhaps a true sign of mature industry for the online porn. It is reaching a critical point where the number of free porn is in excess compare to the number of surfers wanting to join the site. I think too many surfers are getting satisfied with free porn. :disgust

ustc9507 12-12-2004 09:41 AM

Thursday and Friday was doing 50% of normal. Last 2 days have made up for the loss and made more. :thumbsup

The thing is, there has always been an abundance of free porn.

ustc9507 12-12-2004 10:05 AM

There has been but not at the level we are seeing now. As soon as a new video episode or a new talent is discovered, we come across the mini-version of the actual content or a new photo gallery resembling an actual members area. Now the quantity is so abundant that why would there be a need for a surfer to join a site? I am not saying no one will join. I am just saying we might be reaching a critical point where getting new members will no longer justify the expenses of running an adult site. :2 cents:

V_Rocks, you should contact me about this. I do see a lot of traffic from you, and I do see one sale in there. You might be using the link codes incorrectly or your traffic isn't geared well for selling our sites.

Please contact me via email and we'll look over this. I haven't heard from you about this yet, so let's get our heads together and figure out what's up.

This is correct, but the quality of free porn has never been better. Its near the quality of that in members areas now. Due to competition of getting listed on the tgps, link lists etc people have been forced to step up quality of images and movies or not get listed at all. A vicisous cycle that in time will canabilize everyones profits. Are we there yet? I doubt that, but are we getting very close? Yes. A pullback will happen in time.

BVF 12-12-2004 10:33 AM

I'm doing good this month. And I did good last month...Seriously.

But that doesn't mean that I couldn't start having a bad month tomorrow. It can happen. ONe time I got the best sales day during the worst sales week.

Shit happens. Ride it out.

Makes a bit of sense. I hope things improve a lot in January.

This is like de'ja vue! Wow... same shit was being said when I originally got on GFY (which is a month before what it says in my profile, I got banned in like 2 weeks). It was late November and people were talking about a banner month (which I had in November myself) and then in December it was talk about how free porn is way to out there. Then in mid January everyone was talking about how good the porn industry is again...

I can't wait to see this next year... Maybe I'll bump this post?

diesel 12-13-2004 09:59 AM

You cannot blame on CCBILL everything ... I also had 2 days of low signups on 2 from our websites, but its picked up and now it reports a 40% increase on all sites comparing to normal days.
0:44k ratio is not ccbill fault thats for sure...
The worst ratios I saw with ccbill in my life were around 1:2000

Master_Yoba 12-16-2004 02:18 PM

looks like today is the worst day with CCBill

Sosa 12-16-2004 03:00 PM

yesterday and today fucking suck ass with them and I"m not the only one seeing it. I've talked to some other people and a program owner that things are all down starting Tuesday night around midnight.

We've never heard of a "winter slowdown". Best time of the year is the holidays for us. Hence, we have a "summer slowdown" instead... Ive always thought that ppl stay indoors during the winter and spend more on home/online entertainment
