i just got my new birth certificate in may (i only had the church certificate). that, plus my health card and my driver's license are good enough.

As soon as you turn 18, your criminal record as a youth gets wiped out. I was arrested at 16 and when I got stopped by the cops at 20 years old, nothing came up.

What i got told is when you try to cross the border you get problems ...

yeah, but not for anything as a youth. even if a cop were to stop you and run a check on your name, anything that happened before you turned 18 won't show up. it gets completely erased.

i think you can contact the police dept and they can check for you.
